Andrew Benak: When under CPU and Graphic demanding situations for example Guild Wars 2. The computer will beep then dim the screen, with say it's not charging and then come back to normal
Andrew Benak: Now one way I have gotten around this is I go into power management and set CPU max slate at 99% and it NEVER happens but when it is at 100% it will occue

Vignesh RB: Andrew, I understand that the computer will not take charge when you play games in it. Correct?
Andrew Benak: no
Andrew Benak: it will just cut out for a second or two
Andrew Benak: then come back
Andrew Benak: and it will do this off and on sometimes 30seconds in between sometimes 1 minute
Andrew Benak: but when I am not gaming or under a high CPU usage I have no issue
Vignesh RB: The Notebook does this only when you play game in it. Correct?
Andrew Benak: Usually is during games but have had it happen when under high CPU usuage
Vignesh RB: Andrew, I will help you in the right direction.
Andrew Benak: heating is not an issue tho. It will happen right away during the game there is no way the CPU got that hot that fast

Vignesh RB: This will happen when the game interface occupies the CPU space and there are no trouble shooting steps to prevent this.
Vignesh RB: Andrew, the game which are playing in your Notebook has high graphics part and that may require more graphic card performance.
Andrew Benak: the game is performing great there are no issues with the game. I don't get why this issue happens when the cpu max slate is 100% and wont when its 99%
Vignesh RB: In this case, you can either contact the game developer support or the Answers by fee based support through 8775264466.
Andrew Benak: that sort of proves your theory wrong
Vignesh RB: Even if it is an computer, when the work load goes high the performance of the computer will go low.

Andrew Benak: why is there NO issue when max slate is 99% ?
Vignesh RB: It is not that it will stop working, it will work but it will take some more time to finish the assigned job.
Vignesh RB: Andrew, the computer memory is not full at least it has 1% to breath. When the total space is occupied it will not have space to run the assigned job.
Vignesh RB: I do agree with your point, there is not a huge difference between 99% and 100%. But, in this case it makes a huge difference in performance basis.
Andrew Benak: The laptop has i7-2670 quad core with 8 gigs of memory and 2 gigs on graphics card.... how can there be this issue?!
Andrew Benak: I mean I see what your saying but feel that it shouldn't have a problem with these specs is all...
Vignesh RB: I understand that, even if it has 8GB of memory the game occupies the whole RAM space and that will cause the issue.
Andrew Benak: hmm ok well I guess I am glad this is not a big issue. Yet a little upset I have to set it at 99%
Vignesh RB: Andrew, the Notebook will not run the entire games memory. I believe that the game will be of 2 GB , but the RAM will run only with the 8 GB of space it has got.

Andrew Benak: so this is COMPLETELY normal and there are no issues at all? Right now laptop is under warranty but if I have an issue that is based around this after warranty I will not be happy... I also will be saving this conversation to back me up in proving I tried to have it fixed right now.
Andrew Benak: If your willing to say everything is ok and I should leave it at 99% that I will trust you and go on my way
