Need some Gaming Laptop Help !

Thread Starter
Hi im Looking into buying a gaming laptop for my birthday with a budget of under £700.
Im not going to be playing crazy graphics game like Cod,
Bf3 or Crysis because i have an Xbox for that. Im looking at playing games like Dayz, The Warz and The Dead linger.

This is one i was having a look at and can someone tell me if its decent and if they can find a better one ? (ideally i'd prefer a 14" laptop)

laugh4.gif this one does not happen to have dual batteries configuration does it?

Anyway, it's a decent price for the specs involved ...

14" Intel Core i5 3317U Mobile Processor - 8GB 1600Mhz DDR3 Memory - 500GB SATA Hard Drive - 32GB MSATA - NVIDIA GT 640M Graphics - Windows

And from what I read so far from another thread here, their after-sales support seems quite professional

I personally would not -
- you already have the 3rd generation Core i5 here
- 2.6ghz is a good packing in, more than that it might influence the cooling working environment

then again, it's your 100 quids to decide winknudge.gif

So with those specs would i be able to play games on good settings ?
if not what would i have to improve ?

The only possible weak point is the graphic card ...

It all depends on the drivers and game patches, to tell you the truth. You can chase after a latest GPU and you still can't play certain games decently. Don't expect too much out of a notebook when gaming though.
