Compaq mini cq10 AND hp mini 110 charger probs.

Hi i have a Compaq mini cq10 AND hp mini 110

my charger is not working anymore (it doesn't work on both)

I have lots of laptop chargers on my house. i was wondering somethings and i hope to get some help :)

.- I have a spare HP 19v 4.74a  CHARGER can i use it with the netbooks? (both use a 19v 1.58a)

Does anyone here knows if the notebooks have a way to regulate the power they are getting?

also does anyone know the polarity in this type of chargers?

TY vm! :)

The polarity is usually marked in the adapter (the central pin is most probably +). The voltage is important but that extra amperage is just a bonus - it's not used.

thanks for the repply.

What i was wondering is if the netbook have a way to regulate that extra energy.

and if the netbooks polarity is positive in the middle.

thanks

I would not worry about the extra power, seems like both the mini cq and the mini are of the same hardware specs

cheers ...
