I have a Blackberry Playbook that works great for playing videos like YouTube. I love the OS and it is very cheap considering the hardware it has.

I am on OS 2.1.0.1088 Updated not too long ago. Sometime next quarter, Blackberry is going to the new BB10 OS. BB will release the new phones first and hopefully the Playbook will get the BB10 OS pushed to the Playbook after that. The existing OS is not bad but there are some simple functions that is still missing, nothing major. At about $250 +/- $50 dependent on 32GB or 64GB this is a great deal. (IMHO)

I believe that it is a good machine myself. RIM failure was to rush the device out with no (not enough) software and apps to support it.

iPad specially if you'll not use it for anything that would need good compatibility with enterprise environment otherwise surface RT.
