Windows 8 Desktop replacement with TouchScreen

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a "desktop replacement" notebook with those requirements :

- Windows 8
- Touch Display
- 15.6" or bigger display
- vertical resolution minimum 900pixels (1080 ideally)
- i7 (or i5 at LEAST)
- 6Gb RAM min.
- USB 3.0 port (at least 1)
- Ideally with numeric keypad
- Ideally with 2 HDD bay
- Decent Graphic card

Is there anything in the market that seems to meet most of those requirements??? huh.gif

any suggestions?

Go take a look at the Dell M6600 Precision Mobile Workstation. you can use this link: http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/precision-m6600/fs

 

Select the middle option and customize. If you scroll down to the display you can select multi-touch as an option.

 

The M4600 also offers touch, but at your minimum required resolution.

 

Have fun specing it out.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies.

True for the Dell Precision, its cool and it meets all my requirements but I find its pretty bulky for a notebook at that price.. :/

I finally found the asus u500vx Touch (or ux51vz not sure what is the right model #). Its just simply AMAZING and exceeds my requirements. It even comes with 2 SSDs in RAID.

Not sure though when or how I will be able to get my hand on one of those in Canada... ohmy.gif

Keep your eyes on Amazon (Asus Zenbook). They might carry the model soon.
