ASUS x501A memory upgradable?

Anyone know whether the ASUS X501A notebook can be upgraded to a higher memory? At the moment its got 4GB installed.

Interesting that ASUS specs call only for 4GB max, but Crucial site says that you can put 8Gig into this model winknudge.gif

Exactly what i was thinking. Also had a look on Crucial too, and rang ASUS up. Their reply was that they advise on 4GB when i asked if upgrade was possible. Assumed straight away that it must be upgradable if they didn't mention its not possible to. Cheers.

Talk to Crucial. They can confirm yay or nay for you. I go for Yay, giving Crucial being solid with their recommendation.
