Acer aspire water damage to screen

Hi looking for some help, spilled water onto my laptop screen by accident obviously. Laptop still works but I'm left with a cloud patch at the bottom right of the screen, will this eventually dry out and disappear after a day or two or will screen be permanently damaged?.

Any help appreciated

Keep it dry as much as you can, flip the notebook upside down and place it near a heater (not too close) so dampness won't get to the circuitry area.

Yes I've read some horror stories hopefully my screen will clear up soon. Any idea how long before it completely disappears (cloud) couple of days?

Hard to say. As long as you still see the screen - even behind those cloud - then there is a good chance it (the cloud) will go away. Like I say, open the notebook wide, place it upside down near something warm ... and pray

Hi just a little update. Laptop screen is now 100% clear now and you would never know that water had been spilled on it. Very happy and again would like to say Thankyou for your help.
