dv9000 has video issues

Thread Starter
I was using the computer and the video suddenly started to "blink". The text is still crisp but the video seems to oscillate. I don't know how to describe it. The pictures are vibrating, and the resolution is not as high and the colors do not blend well. Are there some diagnostics i can run to tell me what is wrong with the computer? If i use an external monitor, the problem does not show up.

Does it do it in safe mode? Try uninstalling and reinstalling the graphic driver ... see if that helps

cheers ...

could very well be a lose display cable, try pushing the screen from the front about 3 inches from the top and 4 inches from the left, thats where the video connector is located behind your screen.
