Hello - when i want to dissable the touchpad, by pressing FN + F9, nothing happens.

I can still use all the other FN shortcuts, ect turn volume up and down.  And i get the "image" when i adjust other settings, like screen brightness ect.

Hope theres a few good solutions .

. Reviewing touchpad service, if any - disable it
. Disable Asus Elean touch pad management process
. Disable the touch pad from within "mouse/Touchpad" properties

FN+F9 does not always work if you have Windows 7

Niether does the 2-3 finger swipes work.. :/

And it's kinda unhandy having to change settings every time, instead of just pressing 2 buttons.

Maybe you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the touch pad driver and utility from Asus?
