I have an Acer 3680 2633 and am thinking of giving it to my grandson to use for gaming.
He likes to download many games so what upgrades would I have to make to accomodate gaming usage. I presently have 80gb hdd and 512mb ddr
Thanks
You can max out at 2gb of ram on this machine, 120GB probably pushing it on the hard drive side. Still I am not that this Acer model can really support games per se. Some old ones may be.
You can buy 2gb ram and a ssd hard disk and your grandson will have a new laptop for a long, it will be fast as ever. He will be able to play any web game, flash game or old games.

Wrong!!!!!. Its a budget laptop and will only be able to play basic games..Celeron processor with possibly 4GBs of RAM and a sub par GPU.. Play any game..give me a break
