CPU upgrrade for B940 processor on A53e

I work on laptops and replaced processors on several machines. Currently I have Asus A53E with B940 CPU processor. Can I upgrade the current processor with an i3 or i5 mobile Sandybridge with the same TDP of 35 Watts?

Can any one tell me which i3 and i5 processors are compatible for my A53E- XN1  with B940 processor?   I have been on Intel website and there are many SandyBridge mobile processors with TDP of 35 watts.

And does anyone know if the processor is soldered to MB or is in a ZIF socket this A53E?  I haven't dismantled the laptop and looked.  It'd be nice to know this ahead of time.

You probably can push with either an Intel Core i3-2370M or an Intel Core i5-2540M - they all share the same Socket G2 (rPGA988B) according to this
