HP Compaq G 7000 video problems

Hi I'm having video problems with a HP Compaq G 7000 Laptop, I have changed the LCD screen and tried a new inverter but the result is still the same any ideas, Bios screen is distorted also and picture is perfect on ext Monitor

Is the replacement screen of same part number?

Hi qhn no its not the same part number, here's the add

15.4" Glossy LCD Screen for HP Compaq F500 F700 DV5000 DV6000 G7000 530 550 DV5

 

 It was taken from a laptop that was stripped for spares and he said it was working,what about the LCD cable although it looks perfect

Well that's the trick, from a working system . I'll go for another LCD with the same part number first
