I came home turned my laptop on, took some time to load up, usually doesnt. windows update wanted me to install some stuff, i only downloaded the important not optional. After It says you need to restart so i did. When i came on usually where it says 'welcome' it said, 1 of 3, then 2 of 3, now its at 3 of 3 0%. It Just stays like that then about 10 mins later it turns off then back on, 3 of 3 0%.
Im running Vista 2gb ram, compaq, 128gb hdd.
I've tried everything, from last known good configuration, to restore to earlier point in time. i tried safe mode, still 3 of 3 thing comes on. I could just wipe the laptop, but i have important files on it and i cant see how to get them.
HELP PLZ
