No network adapters category in Acer E1-531

Hello,

I just bought Acer E1-531 and I face the following problem:
there are no "Network adapters" category in device manager section in Windows XP. 

I've tried to install drivers for Atheros network card but I get the message: "The network adapter is not recognized. Please install it again."

So, I don't have neither an Ethernet connection nor a wireless one.

Can you help me enable the network adapter and then install the proper driver for wired and wireless devices?

According to that support site, you would need to find the appropriate Broadcom driver for XP and installing it. Hopefully it would recognize the device. Another ticker is the chipset driver, this one you miht have to go direct to Intel and see if they offer an XP version for it

Finally the problem was solved by only one driver for the wireless atheros card.
