Today i've just disassembled my Asus N53 (no more warranty anyway) for a clean up. I assemble again and end up with a few extra screws, because i couldn't find anywhere to screw them in, i open it up again but still find no missing holes. Anyway they didn't seems to cause a problem. the system boot up and everything works fine (or rather better since i re-apply thermal paste and clean up the dust). But one thing i notice are my Multimedia Keys not lighten up nor working at all :(
For those whom doesn't know what multimedia keys are. They are located on the panel above your keyboard, consist of power button, volume control buttons, keyboards indicator (numlock, capslock) etc.

For Asus N53, the keys are lighten up underneath, even when it's not working (often due to missing driver). In my case, all of the lights are not even on and they are not function. At first i thought the panel wasn't connect probably to the motherboard, but it's definitely did because that's how the power button works and i was able to turn on my laptop, by the way i did checked and it was connected
I don't really want to disassemble the whole thing again since i already did twice (to find missing screws as mentioned before). It could have not been due to missing screws, because they are not really involve in any hardware components. The problem doesn't cause that much problem, but i intended to sell this laptop near future, and i need it to be in perfect condition. Please help, thank you :)
