Where might they be? I turned it off to install my OS, then when I turn it back on it has no idea where it's drivers are (nor do I). So I have a mass of 'removable drives' showing up on 'my computer' with no way to use them.

Need to explain more. Have you tried to put in a card that fits the right slot yet ?

The drives will appear as such. How have you concluded that there is "no way to use them"?

Go is right, they do show up as removable drives....do you actually have a disk in them? The card reader won't function without the appropriate disks in the slots.

Not only do they show up as removable drives but it will add a "USB Mass Storage Device" to device manager under USB Controllers.
