Thank you!  I had this laptop since BlackFriday November of 2011, I was plagued with this ghost touch issues.  Sent the laptop back 3 separate times not fixed.  I am so happy to have found your video, I was just randomly frustrated by the Ghost touch that I decided to search again and I see your video.  I can not vouch that your fixes work because I do not have the time to do it yet, I'll till I am off from work but I feel so bless that you share this video today as I was looking for it.  .  Thanks!!

Attention

this GUY "Iconia Touchbook" is telling you he has the Solution for Ghost Touches! Thats wrong!

-Its only Scam and Dangerous -

Please be advised a ...new sparepart for this Laptop can be really Expensive! For examble the Motherboard (280€ a new upper Screen (600€) or the bottom Screen (500€)
Even if you only damage the Web Cam only, its not sould seperetly.....so you need to buy for 600€ the hole upper screen!

So do yourself a favor, do not listen to this GUy and his ... Board....he do not care for People....a few days ago, one of his visitors already broke his Laptop and another his WebCam. So he deleted Reviews and Comments. After this didn´t help he closed the hole Video and uploaded this new Video!

No this is not the Solution.
No he do not know what causes this Issue

Where do I know? I am the Inventor and knows exactly what causes the Problem! Look above! He only show you how easy a tear down can be! Nothing more or less!

If you want Help look here! write me

It took me a lot of work to find out what causes the Problem......at the beginning I found the Solution to put Foam Tape between,.......but it did not help.....
Screens never went in sleep even if i closed the screens
and Screens collapsed sometimes
I could not even put the Laptop correct tear up! so i deltet the Foam Tape and found a better and the REAL Solution what caused the Problem!

As you can see in my Video Screen is going dark when I close the Screen!

Another note, he tells in his blog, you can change the CPU

this is also wrong! you can´t! If you do so you can damaged your CPU socket!

look at my pics! Acer did produce two different models of motherboard!

when Ghost Touch causes the Issue the CPU Fan goes up! And Foam Tape can not delete this Fault!

If this Guy really is Sure that Foam Tape can delete the Ghost Touches he can show us another Video where those Faults

do not appear!

1. closing screen shut down light

2. CPU Fan do not go up

3. Sometimes the T9 Symbol on the Virtuell Keyboard is jumping (still Ghost Touch)

cobra.... You cannot change your Iconia cpu??????? you're kiding me, don't you?

ATTENTION EVERYBODY: You can upgrade your CPU and will be no problem with that, but must be a compatible CPU ( 580m, 620m,640m ). Doesn't care if your mother board is 1.0 version, 1.1 version or any other, YOU CAN. At my blog there is the service manual wich guides you with the Iconia's disassembly. Careful and slow are your friends to success.

Other point... I'm glad inform you there is a better solution for the ghost touches that doesn't use foam tape (yes, this solution it's imperfect: if who found this solution is an imperfect person, will get an imperfect solution) and I'm going to share it FOR FREE

Do what ever you like! If you break and damage your motherboard its your own fault!

Acer is also safe as stupid as you describe them here. They develop two different motherboard with different socket, because you kurofune knows everthing better!

Of course you can change your CPU

but the chances to destroy your socket are 70%!

Acer did not let produce good and hig tec motherboards! its written MADE in CHINA

you see the difference? the socket is white, not like mine black! Nokotion did produce those motherboards. Not how you write in your Blog compal!

WtF? mhhhhh? I know evertyhing better? hhhhmmmm?

Acer gives Compal order

Compal gives Nokotion Order

Nokotion did produce them!

So think about how much Budget they had for producing them, even when Acer did place pictures of their better motherboard in their own manual?

@qhn

You are right! Sorry for my bad behaviour! my bad words!

Improved Iconia Maiboard CPU Socket (listet also in the Manual)

You see the difference? The socket is not white! Its the decision of the people to believe you! But really if I were those guys I would not recommend to belive you, because spareparts are more then a laptop costs! Acer has not developed a better model for no reason! Please do not tell people what to do and what you can not if you bring no expertise. And really my Solution is not to put Foam Tape between Touch Panel and LCD Screen! At the beginning it was! It does not solve the problem, but rather accelerated the destruction

I was the inventor of the Solution with Foam Tape. Everybody knows! So I was imperfect? Because right now I found the real Solution and the real Issue. Does this mean I am perfect now?

NO
