I bought an Asus Zenbook ux32a recently and I'm having some problems with it.
Basically, almost every time I use it and shut it down it tells me there are still some programmes running and asks if if I'm sure I want to force the shut down. This happens when I've closed all the programmes and I don't have any download running or something like that. Even if I close the windown and try to shut down again, it tells me the same thing.
As a consequence, the next time i turn it on, it usually starts normally for a few seconds and then the sreen gets completely dark and nothing else happens, no matter how much I wait or whatever keys I press. I then don't have choice but to force the shut down by pressing the on/off button. Then, eventually, the next time I turn it on it opens normally (until I close programmes and try to shut it down again, when it tells me again the "force shut down" story).
I managed to contact ASUS, after many unsuccessful atempts and the guy told me to contact the place where I bought the computer (Currys). I went there, the guy did a screening and said it wasn't a hardware problem, so it had to be something related to software. He recommended me to format the computer, which I am not sure about.
I don't know much about IT so I thought that maybe some of you guys could give some idea and advice.
