Acer laptop any good?

Hi all. i am planning on buying an acer aspire 5733 i would like to know how the build quality is, how long the battery life is, just a overall review. i do not want some random dell fan who just likes to bash anything acer. i Want an opinion from someone who owns one of these laptops or who knows someone who owns it.

It's a decent system with a core-i3 and Intel HD graphic. Battery performance when new probably gets you 2hrs+ depending very much on what you are doing or running in background task.

Acer is a good brand, it has its followers as well as haters, like any other brand names winknudge.gif

i have bought the laptop today and am pleased to report that it is a very decent system with good build quality and overall excelent performance. the only downside is the graphics, i installed mass effect 2 on it and during the fighting scenes the framerate drops from about 25 to more like 30. other than that, very impressed and happy.

Nice. Check out Intel site for latest graphic driver
