Pavilion dv7-4177NR or dv7-4169wm

Hi All ,

 

 I'm new to the forums and wanted to get ask some advice. i am trying to choose between 2 laptops a Hp pavilion dv7- 4177nr and a dv7-4169wm.  i'm getting either one from a friend just have to pick one out. I have heard the dv7-4169wm is good for gaming because it's a triple core 2.2 ghz the dv7-4177nr is a dual core 2.9ghz

 

 Anyone here have some advice witch one would be best for gaming.

I am a sucker for large numbers, so go with the 2.9GHz winknudge.gif

Actually the difference on games would not be too noticeable on both of these models

Hi and thanks for your reply. I was thinking that too. was looking at the dv7-4177nr and it's not in the best of shape.it runs good but looks abused. one of the hinges is loose. the other one is in mint condition. just has a slower processor. i may go with it since it looks like new. and if games will run pretty much the same and i wouldnt notice much difference.

i may go with it since it looks new..

 

 just didnt want to give up any gaming performance...
