problems booting acer 5325

hi i have a acer extensa 5325 lap top and it wont boot up .some one put a new hard drive in it not long ago and it was working perfect, then my daughter had it in her room and it wont boot.when you put the battery in and the charges connected the fan come on for a second and the led lights all come on but the screen stays blank,if you pull the charger in and out the screen flashes white but then stays blank ,after you leave it plugged in for a whilst the green light is the only light that stays on and the computer wont turn off or on you have to remove the battery, itook the cover of the back the hard drive was a bit loose that was it ,but the cmos battery is not in there i think if its the big one right in front of you would that cause it to not load,its just funny as it was working perfect

Can you really access and replace the CMOS battery easily? Try put a new one in there and see. Try also remove and re-seat ram modules as well

i think its the whole for the battery its right in front of you when you take the cover off .ive taken the ram card out so it cant be that can it,i  dont want to spend £10 on a battery if its not thatsad.gif

Short from having professional equipment and to have the notebook in hand for testing, elimination process is all that's left for us to content with smile.gif
