HD4000 graphics not there in M17xR4 with Nvidia 680m with 3D

I heard rumours that with the 3D option, that you cannot access the HD4000 graphics from the CCPU. However, I beleive that in order to get WiDi to work, I need to be using the HD4000 graphics.

So, does anyone with the Nvidia 680m with 3D on their M17xR4 have WiDi working? can you access the HD4000 graphics?  ( I have the 3630QM cpu.)

If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciatted.

According to Intel it does:

I am running Windows 7 Ultimat 64bit.

I noticed, that when I run CPUID, in the "graphics" tab, it only mentions Nvidia graphics.  Also, I can find no way of enabling, OR disabling it in Bios.  When I hit FN + F&, all I get is a window that says "Your graphice solution is automatically configures for optimal performance."

All I can think of is that Alienware / Dell blocks out the HD4000 access from their BIOS

AW usually disable onboard graphics when 3D hardware is installed, it has generally been an either / or choice.

Then they should make someway of saying that the system no longer supports WiDi, because WiDi requires the HD4000 onboard graphics of the Intel cpu.  :(
