Hey guys, hoped to get a little advice on the best netbook bang for your buck.
I've been looking at 11.6" netbooks and found that I'll like be ordering one from the Acer Aspire One line, but there seem to be countless models. I just bought a Samsung Chromebook, hoping i'd be satisfied with the cloud experience, but just wasn't. This thing just seems like a handicapped netbook thats only able to run the browser (I was aware of it's limitations when buying it, but didnt realize its use would be THIS constrained).
I hope to be able to watch HD videos (shouldnt be a problem) and play a few games, maybe runescape or terraria. I believe these little netbooks will also be capable of running Diablo 3 on at least low settings (I've seen youtube videos of the Acer aspire ones running it).
I was wondering how much of a performance difference there is between the different CPU's, namely the Intel Pentium 987, Intel Celeron 847, and the AMD C-70 and C-60.
The one i've had my eye one in particular is the A756-4411.. here for 350
If you have any suggestions or information I would much appreciate it, the big things I'm looking for are 11.6" screen (seems like JUST the right size, so I'm not really interested in anything else), battery life doesnt matter much, and want HDMI.
Thanks again, I hope to hear some suggestions.
