dell inspiron 1300 upgrade qustion

i have got an old inspiron 1300...want to up grade it 

the laptop has 1.5ghz celaron m processor and 1 gig of ram

 

i mainly want to do a ssd upgrade but some people sugested that it would not work...would like some info about the ssd upgrade......

 

want to double the ram.... 

 

and lastly should i upgrade the processor ? will it make a significant improvement?  

 

any info regarding these would help..........

Ram and hard drive can be good upgrade investment. Giving the fact that better systems are being available for cheap, I recommend trading the comp in. If not just the ram and a faster drive would do
