My Dell latitude e6400 laptop won't start

Hi

 

I hibernated my laptop, and next time i tried to use it, it wouldn't start

when i press the power button it turns on, battery lights and HDD turns on a sec and then turns off (but i can feel my HDD vibrating), and numlock is blinking, capslock and scroll lock are on too. but my screen is completely black, and i hear the fans for 2 secs

 

when i press the power button with any other key, my screen shows a variety of colors, first white, then it turns to orange, then green ,.... (on color for each sec!)

and the it comes back to the prevuios state.

 

any one here could guess whats wrong with my laptop?

When did this happen? Got any restore point?

This was a hardware problem, not a sw one

 

A friend of mine helped me out,the problem was with the VGA's power supply, but Dell's support site's help showed some problems with my CPU!!!!

 

i'm glad i didn't acton Dell's warnings

VGA power supply? How did you fix it then?
