I'm in the process of setting up my laptop as a desktop replacement.
Problem is that it refuses to wake up from usb keyboard / mouse (wireless)
What I've done so far:
Enabled the "allow this device to wake up computer" for both mouse and keyboard
Disabled the "allow computer to turn off this device to save power" for all usb hubs
Disabled the "usb selective suspend" when plugged in
There is no relevant option in the bios, but seeing as how I can tick and untich the boxes for waking up, I guess that means it isn't blocked by bios.
Verifying with an old usb mouse (wired), I can see that all usb 2.0 ports power down, only the usb 3.0 stays powered up in sleep.
Plugging the dongle into the usb 3.0 port doesn't change anything though.
OS is win 7 ultimate
Model is aspire ethos 5951G
Any help would be much appreciated!
