(Haven't been on here in awhile and forgot my password so I had to make a new account)
I recently got a new laptop with Windows 8 on it. I have been using it for about 2 months now and suddenly I have started to get permission denied errors. Whenever I try to open or save a file to my documents, downloads files or anything on my desktop I get denied (I'm sure there are more folders I can't access but these are the ones I need access to immediatly). Occasionally it will let me save a file to these locations but then I will get denied to open them or the file will produce an error. I can still delete files from these locations for some reason though. I have administrator rights and I have scanned my computer with Comodo, Avast and Malwarebytes and nothing came up.
I have tried fixing this by going through cmd and re-giving myself administrative permission and have tried going into properties and making the files available to everyone and I have gone into security and given full control access to all users but I still have the same problem. I don't know of anything else to do, can anyone help?
