Today I finally got my SSD and replaced it with the hard drive in my laptop. (Samsung NP300V5A-S09CA)
How ever as soon as the SSD was plugged the computer would not pass the first loading screen where you can press F2 to enter bios. It just stays there loading for ever. When removing the SSD and booting comptuter with original HDD or no hard drive there were no problems.
After disabling AHCI in the bios the computer was capable of successfully booting and boot the Windows 7 Installation Disk, however it does not detect the SSD.
Sometimes it doesn't even reach the installation part it stays stuck on window logo after loading files.
I tried sing DBAN to wipe the disk and re format it into NTFS with no luck
The hard drive does however work on my brothers desktop without any issues.
I have also tried clonning the original HDD to the SSD and that lead to Drive error press ctrl alt del to restart.
Any suggestions ?
Thank you in advance.
