darker colors are richer on my CRT, like black

colors look a little washed out to me. have you compared to other sxga+ screens?

i previously had the mitac 8335 (voodoo m855) and it uses the same sxga+ screen

hey dude im thinkin of buying from powernotebooks or grom ibuypower...

what i get the same service from either or?

also do you think that laptop will be able to handle new games and game such as HL2 and doom3?

im thinkin of gettin one with a 2.0 ghz...

does the 1.7 and 2.0 make a difference in preformance if playing doom3 or HL2? thanks

i dont know, but i suggest you look at their policy/info and what kind of offerings they have for refunds/returns/warranty length... also resellerratings.com is a good way to see how they handle previous problems from other customors... the higher the score, the better. i only purchased my notebook from ibuypower.com coz it was the cheapest available, so i do not know the service of other notebook companies.

i can run all the latest games good... farcry ut2k4 all run good with high settings @ 1024x768 resolution. i cant tell you if it will handle HL2 and doom3 cause they arent out yet. i can only speculate that if your machine can handle farcry now it will handle doom3 and hl2

no the difference in cpu speed will not have a huge impact in performanc when ur talking about gaming, infact you wont even notice that there is a difference... this is because the graphics card does 80% of the work and cpu speed has little to play... your talking about 1 or 2 frame differenc here.

hahah damn i really suck with digital photography, how did you take photos of the laptop displaying windows desktop/screensaver and have it show up well enough to see in the photo. Everytime I try to do that with mine, the screen looks awful.
I guess it could be my bad lighting.

if u look carefully in that last pic even the LEDS are changed..

its suppose to be green/green/orange

but he has purple/red/purple

thats so neat!

Hey! When my laptop was a m:355 it had the same colored lights. Since the upgrade, I havent really paid much attention but after you mentioned it, I see that my m:360 now has the green lights instead.

Oh well, the green goes well with my blue paint.
