So I just got a Lenovo Yoga 13. This is my review.
As what I primarily do is writing and programming, having a good keyboard is critical for me, which is why a tablet alone can’t work for me, and...
I have owned dozens of laptops in a variety of brands, and had many different laptops provided for my use at work. Without question, this is the finest I have owned. The Alienware M17x R2 is a...

Quick question. I already got a CL56 on the way, just wondering, does the AC power plug on the right side of the notebook cause any problems, such as the power cord getting in the way of mouse movements, etc.? Thanks!

Yes its on the right side.
Look at the high res pics on Rince's other thread...
Yeah, I am aware that it is on the right. I was just asking if he found it to be annoying, or if it ever caused problems, such as the power cord getting in the way, etc...
I was looking for information about the wireless issues you were having but couldn't for the lie of me find the thread(s). Do you still have the link(s)?
there wasnt an issue the wireless card that ibuypower put in the lappy was a no name one... which worked perfectly fine... it just didnt allow for me to turn off wi-fi using the on/off switch... only intel cards do that
i just merely upgraded my card and got full functionality of the switch
cost 40 bux and since my wifi card was free anyway it didnt really matter
I hear that upgrading the wifi card is probably one of the biggest pain in the ass things to upgrade in the CL56. Is it really that bad. I've only changed the CPU and memory/HD myself in this chassis before.
I had voodoo install the new wifi card when I got my CL50 upgraded to the CL56.
I was thinking of self painting the cl 56 if i bought it. It would save money and I could get the shade of red or green i wanted. Do you know what type of paint is used when say voodoo or ibuypower paints them?
Do any of these systems people have provide a USB boot option. Mine enables boot from the HDD, CD-ROM, floppy (which doesn't exist), and optionally the network. I would like to boot from an external USB HDD for an alternative OS. I'm curious if anyone's system supports that. I'm trying to find a BIOS upgrade from what I have.
