I will be purchasing a 8600 in late June maybe July if I can wait that long. It will be a notebook for college. My two questions are, how powerful is the 1.8 and 2.0 Pentium M processors, compared to say a P4. Becuase my other option was to build a computer, but I think I want the compactness and stunning screen of the 8600. Anyways my other questions is has anyone ever used the Hitachi 40gb 7200rpm harddrive from hitachi. It is only $150 from newegg and thought it would make an awsome upgrade along with the standard HDD or 60gig 7200 from dell. Wait, I have one more question, I will be upgrading the ram from newegg to 1gig, is Kingmax pc2700 for $107 the best? Thanks in advance
