Which to choose? HP nx5000 or nc6000?

I am trying to decide between the two, and see that there is more information on the nc6000. Can anyone give me information about the nx5000? Thanks.

nc6000 all the way. It has Mobility Radeon 9600, weighs less, and has a 3-year warranty. Only if you need firewire, nx5000 is an option.

i had the nc6000 and loved everything about it except the video performnce


even tho it says 9600 video card... it is clocked way under normal speeds so that it performs like the 2 year old ATI 7500

you can overclock it to make it slightly faster than the 1 year old ATI 9000 but you void the warranty

if video performance is not that important then the nc6000 excels at build quality, keyboard response, design, screen

FYI the 3dmark 2001 scores at stock settings were 5500
3dmark 2003 scores around 1700

In comparison, nx5000 has Intel Extreme Graphics 2, which scores about 100 (yes 100) in 3dmark'03.
