If you had the 9600 would you think it worth 300 bucks for the 9700 daegras?

Im a nvidia user. All my destops run nvida. (I just prefer them) as for the laptop, there is a major diffrence with no overclocking between the too. After using the 9600 now. I would say if you own a 5600 NV its worth the bones. if you own the 9600, no. I play BF vietnam at medium settings now, on 1024x768 no problem. Full audio too. IF they come out with a 256 meg version I will get it, just so I can say to my friends, I got a 256'er in my lappy. But as far as Iv read a 256 meg card wont make that much of a diffrence.

That is a tough question, specialy if you have obligations.

Well guys, here's what I saw. I had UT2k4 running at max settings on my 9600 and on my 9700. I saw a bit of a clarity increase on my 9700, but nothing noticeable to the casual glance. For us hardcore gamers, yeah, you'll see it. And the thing is, my card is getting an out of the box power that is > or = your overclocked 9600's. Think about the power you could get by over clocking the 9700. Because of that, I would seriously consider that change, but if you're happy with your card now, you probably don't need to make the move. That's the best way to describe it for now, without revealing my up coming review info bits.

Be assured that when it gets posted, it'll be a sticky for the ages
