Here's my setup, it consist of a dell 700m and a 17inch LCD display for some dual screen goodness. Also have two usb hard drive enclosures one with 300gb and the other with 80gb storing movies and mp3s, there is also a external Pioneer DVD burner. On the left is my lovely Tube amplifier , gotta love that Tube sound.

Yeh you can setup up your monitors for different positions in the display properties. I personnally find it easier to use when i have my LCD above my laptop when using dual monitors.

Im a Gateway user ... this thread is too universal to be restricted to just Dell's.

And if I had a decent pic of my office I would post it. Now its just a bunch of cream boxes that all are broken in some way.

An update to my "setup".

As you can see, I have my desk with my laptop, connected to a Logitech R-20 2.1 Sound system, and my rather small 34cm (14") TV. On the TV you can see MCE2005, running from the laptop using dual-monitor. I can have MC on the TV and whatever else on the laptop. The MCE is controlled by the remote (on the desk).

I also have a PSP, XDA II Mini, Heaps-in-1 card reader, several PSP games, spare battery, 1.28Gb MP3 player (1Gb SD + 256Mb Internal), 60GB 2.5" USB HDD, 120GB 3.5" USB HDD and Logitech MX900.

Phew.....
