Ebay Scam or good deal?

I was on ebay when i came across this Dell 8600, The seller has a 128 rating but has never sold anything. He has 2 of these for sale and they are only 1 day auctions. Take a look for yourself tell me what you think.

Hey 551 USD for a "brand new" Inspiron 8600 seems like a scam to me, so you might wanna observe the bidding for the first system, and then if it turns out to be true, buy the second system that he has for sale.

Looks pretty legit to me......notice that even though the price is at 551 it says "reserve NOT met" meaning if it were to end at that price the seller doesn't have to sell it. The reserve price must be met before it can actually be sold....i bet he has it set at like 1200-1800 but it could be lower who knows.

From other posts, I think he said he purchased a WUXGA screen to put in his laptop, and they never returned his e-mails.

Well the guy just started emailing me again and he was sayin that he was moving and that y he wasnt answering. so he said he put the thing on 3 day shipping so let c what happens. what im really scared of is the that screen is all Damaged u know leakage dead pixels thing like that. im hope is a sharp. lol i hear sharps are brighter. and i hope is not a toshiba. i got if for $405 + shipping $15 + and insurence $5 a grand total of $425. here is the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/ebayISAPI.dll...tem=3480517318

ok i just checked the traking # he gave me and it say is in transit. so im going to wait till it get here so i can take off the stop payment i put on him. i dont trust this guy at all. u never know he may send me rock in a box or something. I find it funny house right when i put a stop payment on his account he wrote me an email that same day. isnt that funny. yesterday i call paypal and they put a stop payment on his account i get an email from him about 4 Hr later. out of all everything i have got from ebay this is the first guy that made me feel insecure about my purchase and making me feel like im goin to get rock, like some storys i hear that happen on ebay.

Does anyone know hwo much an LCD cost. in the weight of the item it say 3.4 lb (sorry for people that dont know the English system, i really dont know the metric system) is this right. by the way how would i find out what im getting from a part #.


It say im going to get it on june 1 damn this is going to be long weekend.

3.4 lbs ~ 1.5Kg (divide by 2.2)
