Time to send the lappy back

Okies... enough is enough.

The system shuts down on it's own at times. Issues with the video card and the replaced internal wireless still sucks. Not to mention the cracks in the chassis and the fact that they didn't even bother to put all the screws on the damn system.

Yeah... time to send it back.

Should we start a pool on how long it'll take?

Yup... it's the new one.

Actually I think that it's a great system... I've just been a little rough on it and now I am paying the price. Nothing abusive mind you, but I used it to it's fullest and really carted it around for like nearly 7 months now on the airlines, on set, at university, LAN parties, etc.

But just for kicks I might get a Sager... always good to have a backup, lol!

Sager is a great machine... I almost got one... but I just don't see anything special about a Sager... Plus they aren't very upgradable... like our AWs... if i wasn't looking for an upgradable lappy, then I would have gone with Sager... or Compal...

Amir,

Althought it seems you are lightly joking...please refrain from coming into the Alienware forums and trolling with posts like this. I see this trend in a few of your latest posts and would appreciate compliance with the forum guidlines as written by the Site Administrator.

There are many happy Alienware customers (me included) that take offense to this kind of conduct. Party because we know how good our machines are and partly because we would never go into the Sager section of these forums and spouting out that its "Time to get an Alienware" with every issue those owners have.

Thanks for understanding.

I for one feel like having an alienware puts me in a somewhat exclusive club....also the fact i've wanted one since for as long as I can remember! Playing games on my pentium 75 while reading the lastest PC gamer with the newest Alienware rig in it...300 mhz, 64 megs of ram...wow!!!!!!!

Show me where in your policies it states that a post like mine is "offensive". Do you see me bashing Alienware in my post? No. Now that would be inappropriate. You can go into the Sager forums and recommend Alienware, like I would care No one will flame you, thats the whole purpose of this forum.
I don't even know why I'm replying, your response is not even worthy of replying to.

Sorry for the thread hijack Yoda117, at least you have a sense of humor around here

Is this where I run for cover under a blanket and hide shaking of fear? please... I can't believe something this petty is made into such a big deal.
If this is SUCH a big deal that it's ruining the mod's life then I advise he bans me now. My life will be devastated! I can't help people on the sager forum with their tech problems anymore!

anyone else imagine craig saying that in the darth vader voice?

*shakes head*

Its just beyond me how someone can be so infantile. Amir, enjoy your exclusion from these boards.
