I saw a company called L computers started by a film producer that complained about how slow his laptop was. He has turned it into a great company from what I have heard but that is besides the point. The point is that they have the option of using a solid state hard drive called PURam in their laptops. No moving parts so the seek time is amazing. Something like 6Gb/s so basically you press the on button and your computer's OS is fully loaded. It is like running your computer on massive amounts of RAM. Does alienware or will AW try something out like this for the area 51m anytime soon? Price is heavy at an extra $5000 US for the drive but could be worth it.
