I was able to push the temperature with the fans on high to 60C by running a number of concurrent system stress tests that caused the Main CPU and HT Image CPU to be maxed out at 100% on a consistant basis and memory usage to be at approximately 5GB - The GPU was alo be exercised with 2D and 3D graphics tests. The 60C was the highest peak that I could force and the temps flipped between 58, 59, and 60C after the test had executed for over 30 minutes. I only ran the test for about 90 minutes before I was satisfied that there was not temperature problem. After disabling the tests, the temperatures dropped to about 35/36C and remained there. When I disable the "High" Fan (Fn+F10), the temperature raised to about 42C and stayed there. I was browsing e-mail, this forum, and other internet sites.
