Halo on Sentia? - Page 2

OK everyone, thanks a lot. Now that I know Halo and Jedi Academy will run on Sentia, I have one final question. Does Intel Extreme 2 allocate 32 MB VRAM for 256 RAM and 64 VRAM for 512 RAM? Or 32 for 512 and 64 for 1024?

Where are you located ArmadonRK?

It allocates 64 out of whatever you have in the computer. I suggest getting the most RAM possible.

I've come across forums where buyers of the Battalion 101 were saying the LCD's were low quality. Bunch of dead pixels and screen was dim even with the brightness all the way up.

I live in Brussels, Belgium. Alienware is one of the few reliable brands available to me. There are others, but most of them are companies where I'd be talking to French people, and the language difference would be a pain.

Yay. Dell just recontinued the 8600 model here, so I'm looking in to that. The bad side, chances I'll get a Sentia are less...

I got video clips of Halo game play. But the file size is much too big for my server to handle. DSL does not give much upload speeds for the basic plan.

what is ur upload speed Booga?

basic DSL in Verizon area is 768/128

The clip is 29 MB - enough to cripple my connection to a crawl every time.

The clip is not even that sharp and the digital cam can only handle 2 fps video capture, maybe 1.5.
