"supplicant support" G-EzLink Utility

I am getting an error message:

The supplicant support has not been installed correctly. You need to run setup again to fix this problem. If instead you continue, 802.1x and WPA will be disabled.

Tried reinstalling the Giga-byte GN-WIAG driver and utility but didn't help. I think I started getting message after installing Java RE. Any suggestions.

I had this problem. I ran the program that I downloaded from Sager here.

Now my wireless connection works fine, but I can no longer run the G-EZLink Utility. Its exe is burried in the folder extracted from the download. Trying to run it results in a send-error-report-to-microsoft window.

When you say, "driver and utility," are you talking about two separate things?

I believe I am. My wireless connection is working, so is the utility. I think it's just a problem with the utility. I downloaded T-Mobil's utility which works fine with no error messages. I am going to see about getting rid of G-EZLink if I can do it without uninstalling the driver.

i had this issue after my inital os and driver installs then i reinstalled the driver till it then went away, I later had reformatted due to other issues and again the the same error occured so I continued to reinstale the driver till it went away I think it took 3 installs with a reboot after each till it went away. The first time if i remember it took only 2 installs. Good luck.
