It is for his notebook an Alienware laptop, 1st generation for 1,300 dollars. It looks real nice in its black color.

The For Sale forum Users should Beware low post counts. Most forums do not allow buying or selling if the count is under 100. (just a little food for thought) and I don't mean to misrepresent anyones intentions.

great point aurora, has this forum adopted a standard on post counts or is there a preffered refference/reputation site that it adhere's to?

We haven't settled on an exact course but it is being discussed. everyone should follow whatever guidlines that they feel comfortable with. The post count is a good start.

Might want to check for references (ie- Heatware/eBay feedback). On top of that, with such spendy items and being used, I'd suggest using a reputable escrow site (such as www.escrow.com). I bought my 2nd laptop online from the Anandtech FS/T forums and got lucky, but I'd hate to see anyone else take that gamble and lose.

Be safe and protect yourselves! (and no, I'm not talking about wearing a condom while clicking Send Money)
