ok, it seems that with the new bluetooth driver, if you also have XTNDConnect installed, it will make the mx900 mouse unusable..

only solution:

uninstall XTNDConnec, uninstall Bluetooth Virtual HID Mouse
in device manager under mouse (hid)

reboot, use bt wizard to discover mouse again
