I will be using my computer multi-tasking, word processing and gaming. I want the WUXGA but I don't want to the text to be unreadable. What is everyone else using in there I8600.

Well I thought about the WUXGA so I could squeeze more lines of code on my screen since I am going to school to become a software engineer.

BUT I have sorta bad eyes so I went with the WSXGA+, which while is still big is not too much higher then my desktop LCD(1280 x 1024).

The screen you choose should be based on what you plan to do, for me coding. And if your eyes can handle that.

Note that you can also change the default size in most cases to help I belive.

I have the WUXGA. I got it purely because I wanted to go top of the line because upgrading a laptop (and especially the screen) is not an easy thing to do. I have to admit that at first I was surprised by how small everything was, but after about an hour, I was adjusted and now it is hard to use any monitor other than my laptop's LCD. It's amazing how crisp text looks, how vibrant pictures are, and in general, how beautiful the WUXGA makes everything look.

If you can, do the WUXGA. If you are anything like me, one hour of adjusting is well worth this beautiful screen.

I have WSXGA. I had WUXGA on my old i8500 but it was much too small and I would recieve headaches trying to run my programs after a few hours. Increasing DPI, etc was not favourable because it messed with said programs.
Since moving to the WSXGA I have had none of these issues, it is fantastic and I'm loving every minute of it.
