Nice machine! One thought, you cannot upgrade your warranty once it runs out. So after 2 years, kaput

Don't buy this computer. Wait a few months for the newer stuff to come out and then make your decision.

Sincerely, Matt

What new stuff will come out in a few months? will there be big changes? I dont think the changes will be that big.
Shut it Beavis,

Well, around June/July (summer) companies usually release newer products. Can you wait a month of two, or do you need this NOW?

man im not sure I mean I could definately use it now hahaha but one question is there a plus and minus combo drive that you can buy at the gear shop or any thing?

and they release them again in Sept, later in Dec as well...

No matter what you get, you will always have something come out in a few months that is better... welcome to the game

MJ don't create doubt for a person that has already chosen a system. During the building of the machine, Just keep an eye on the Alienware configurator. If there is a price drop just call Alienware and they will give you the lower price. Basically if anything new comes out, the cost of the system May go down. Otherwise, if you are planning on having the Top of the Line Most expensive system you will wait forever because the industry is forever changing.

shush MJ, you're gonna scare the poor guy... With the new things that have already come out, I really don't think we'll see any major changes.
All I know is after I get my laptop and follow the stickys on this forum I'm not coming back for at least 2 years 'cause I don't wanna know what new stuff I'm missing out on that I can't have !!
