ok i have decided im getting the amd 64 3000+ and an asus k8v or k8v deluxe mobo, i was wondering if the asus k8v comes with all the wires i need to hook up the hdd, disk drives or any other devices. and i am getting a case that supports a 12*10.5 mobo, i cant find in the specs where it says the size of the k8v, will it fit? and i am wondering about amd's new chips, when are they coming out and how much will they cost, and when is pci express coming out and how much will pci express gpu's and mobos cost,

Ive been wondering the same thing... I know that the new Gigabyte MOBO has a PCI express, you can check their website for the details, its just too bad I cant get one here in Canada yet... unless I order online but ive always been skeptical about buying hardware online

mellamojimmy,

What exactly is it that you need to know? I bought the same thing you are looking at today. Only I bought the Deluxe mobo.

i want to know when amd's new chips are coming out and if it will be worth it to wait for pci express and new amd chips or just buy the asus k8v and amd 64 3000+

I would say get the asus k8v now and then a year or two down the road you could upgrade to the PCI express. I dont think it would be too neccessary to have it right now.
