I am making a purchase soon, and I was wondering if I was on the right track. I need a mainstream notebook that IT won't frown upon, but I also want the latest a greatest technology for business applications. I need as much screen real estate as possible without moving to the W type screens so UXGA is my choice. I do not game so the ghosting of the flexview will not be a problem. I also need great build quality, because I am not a gentle guy with laptops. It is not intentional, but it seems to always work out that way.
All things being equal is the hierarchy in the title correct in your opinions? Am I leaving out any major players? Please fill in pros and cons to the systems if you have firsthand knowledge. Also if you can point me in the direction of a direct comparison between the frontrunners I would greatly appreciate it.
