Come on its not that bad , I prefer the smaller xbox controller but the original controller is decent enough. PS2 controllers are a bit small for me.

both systems have their pluses.

the xbox controller is the best! i hate both the PS2 and GC controllers, the xbox one not only has more buttons (mmmm, buttonssssss) but the trigger buttons are pressure sensitive unlike the PS2 and i personally like the analog sticks more.

The triggers on ps2 controllers are pressure sensitive, and they also have analog sticks..

Maybe I liked the XBOX's controllers because I have big hands... never gave the anthropometrics a thought, but I bet that's why...

To me, the pinnacle of controller design is the N64 controller. I have never seen a better one.

axiom, i meant that you could put different amounts of pressure on the XBOX triggers and the game would react differently (i.e. press it a little and the car accelerates a little, press a lot and the car goes uber-fast) and i like the XBOX analog sticks more than the PS2 ones. and i agree wooster, nothing beats the N64 controller; best. analog. ever. period.

I know what you meant and I'm letting you know that the ps2 controllers are also pressure sensitive

I should try to convert my N64 controller to work with the PS2.

n64 controller was the best designed in the sense of moving around... it used a rollerball underneath the joystick thingie and could get precision accuracy with it.. ps2 and xbox controllers don't come close to it sadly.. too bad they're not all made like this anymore.
