I currently use a 6 year old Gateway (Desktop)... I had to replace the MoBo once (Only because I scratched the original while replacing the a faulty Enet card). This computer for the most part has served me very, very well. Of course, mind you, I don't play any of the newer games out there right now, that's why I'm thinking about the 51M Exteme.
Anyhow, I have seen posts pertaining to customer service of AW that might question my thoughts on why I should spend money on an AW system. Am I just catching people at the right.. er, wrong times? Does or has AW always had a problem in troubleshooting systems sent in? I'm planning on getting the "two year on-site" service plan.
These people that are complaining about AW service dept. are people who just purchased thier system and didn't get the onsite service or are these older models and is normal for AW to hold them for as long as the owner says?
Pardon my long post of what I'm sure to be a number of posts already answered in other threads. I understand there is a community of people here that "stick" together and have friendships. As I am in the same situation in two other boards (One being gameing and the other being Football) I understand people can come down on "newbies" hard in forums. I have tried to read as much as I could before posting this... I was just unable to come up with a collaborative answer for my question above.
