Damn Thieves!!!

So my car was broken into last night . Why the hell can't thieves just take the stereo without f'ing up the dash...that's the part that pisses me off...all the extra crap I have to fix so my car won't look like a rolling garbage can. And tight in the middle of finals too, could the timing suck more? Now I have to fix my car AND study for tests/ write papers.

Sorry - that had nothing to do with AW or my lappie, I'm just pissed off.

flapjacks, that is a coincidence. i got my car broken into during finals this year as well. thing is they just tried to steal the car, fools didnt know my car cant be driven without the keys in the ignition, all they did was a lot of damage, had to bust out the payment for the deductible. i was raging too. sorry to hear you have to experience it too bro. don't worry, "this too shall pass."

I had my car broken into 3 months ago. The dumb part is, he was just a kid and he wanted to steal a Cell fone (broken) that was in there. Little did he know, I was standing behind him!!!! I slapped him in the head while my GF called the police. His parent now have to pay me 1,500 for the damaged windows and paint on the door for my car! Little bastard is lucky i didn't slap him with with a baseball bat. Anyways, sorry to hear that you guys had your car broken into during Finals. Good luck though and hope everything fairs out ok.

talk about awesome. i would glady to watch someone break into my car if i could smash them over the back of the head using a combination of stealth and power... lol. god that must have felt great... and he has to pick up the tab, excellent.

here in phx it is expected to have your car broken into, we lead the nation with car theft! what a category to dominate the competition in.

I was in the city at a yankee game alittle while back... some guy was standing near my Dads van, and there was this girl near it too (I think she was a lookout). The guy looked like he was going to try to break in, and (my dad is HUGE) my dad went up behind him and said "Hey, Kid, what are you doin'?!?"
Guy ran away so fast I think he might have **** his pants...

Sorry to hear that flapjacks, it's always upsetting to get ripped off. Last time I had a car burglary, they messed up the dash in my Saab Turbo. They took the deck, and ripped out an amp that was mounted behind, so they did a couple thousand dollars in damage for $500 worth of equipment.

I hate the loss in the sense of security that comes with getting ripped...

My roommates BMW convertible got the top slashed and the stereo jacked in his "secure" garage a few months ago...all for a $400 deck. The damges cost nearly 4 grand to fix, luckily insurance picked up most of the tab

I always thought they should make high-voltage car protection systems. Gives the criminal a healthy jolt when he tries to touch it.

Not really, the way electricity works, you would need someone touching the car to ground it to the pavement/ground. Rain would only short it out if you had a steady stream of water flowing all the way to the ground.

thank god for owning a pos 93 mazda that isn't gonna matter if it gets jacked. my concern arrives in the fact that my dad wants me to take the benz when i go to school (in washington state or arizona)

daegras, i am from washington state, a suburb of portland, or. i moved over there for junior high and high school. anyhow, i could have gone to University of Washington, which is very hard to get into out of state, or Arizona State. Those were the two schools that I applied to and were accepted too. Doing it over again, I would gladly go to UW, my friends are up there for starters, and after living in intense heat, the rain doesnt seem so bad, it is also nice to see the seasons change. however, please do not consider university or arizona or washington state university, you will not be satisfied with either of those decisions.

also, the population down here at arizona state is mostly fake, a very artificiaul bunch, its like a carry over of los angeles.
