Catalyst 4.5 to 4.4 downgrade

I been tryin to downgrade my catalyst version because of some problems with Thief 3, how would i go about doing this i kept uninstalling my dispaly drivers and reinstalling but when i re-install the catalyst version it is already on it. can someone tell me how to downgrade, thankx

I believe the current "Maximum PC" magazine has a utility called catalyst remover that is specifically made to solve this problem.

Dude is that why I am getting like 4 FPS? Its because of the 4.5s?

no, 4.5 has some issues with the shadows and they chop up, everyone says when they downgraded back to 4.4 it worked fine, im tryin to do that but when i unistall and try to install again it tells me setup could not continue because of software or hardware something something not sure

so 4.5 arent good with rendering shadows?

i cannot downgrade from 4.5 to 4.4 can someone show me how please. i went from unistalling my omega drivers and re-installing and 4.5 still comes up

omega or catalyst? In your initial post you say catalyst, now you say omega. which driver are you using?

I am planning on buying thief so would like to no whether it is a catalyst or omega problem, thanks.

patch latest omega drivers

run omega cleanup (it wil remove all your graphic drivers)

reboot

install cata 4.4
